 Audacity is free, open source software for recording and editing sounds. | EasyTAG | ||
 EasyTAG is a utility for viewing and editing tags for MP3, MP2, MP4/AAC, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, MusePack, Monkey's Audio and WavPack files. Its simple and nice GTK+ interface makes tagging easier under GNU/Linux.The program exists for the both versions of the GTK library 1.2 and 2.4. The GTK 1.2 version wouldn't change a lot (may be some bugs fixes), as all new developments will be concentrated on the new GTK 2.4 version. | Grip CD-ripping | ||
 Grip is a cd-player and cd-ripper for the Gnome desktop. It has the ripping capabilities of cdparanoia builtin, but can also use external rippers (such as cdda2wav). It also provides an automated frontend for MP3 (and other audio format) encoders, letting you take a disc and transform it easily straight into MP3s.
